RealMe X50 Pro Review: Quick
The RealMe X50 Pro has everything which you will need in your next smartphone. It has a 90 Hz screen refresh rate, great build quality, six cameras, 65W fast charging support, I mean the phone is offering great value at 38k. In short, if you’re okay with the RealMe brand and you can spend 38K on Realme brand then this Realme X50 Pro is the phone you’re looking for below 40.
RealMe X50 Pro Review: Display Quality
The phone has a 6.44-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. It also has a pile-shaped notch that is present on the top-left side which is very good because when you’re watching movies or anything else, you won’t notice it’s there. After all, it’s placed in a corner.
RealMe X50 Pro also has a 180hz touch refresh rate and 90Hz screen refresh rate which will give you the best gaming experience. Overall, the phone has the best display quality below the 40k price range but you can’t compare this display to Samsung’s S20 series.
In short, what you’re getting below 40k is amazing and I don’t think any other mobile companies will offer such a specification.
RealMe X50 Pro Review: Build Quality
The phone has coring gorilla glass 5 on both sides and the side corner, they have used an aluminum frame. The weight is 205g which is kind of heavy but if you have used Realme X2 Pro then you get used too.
Keep in mind, that the phone is not waterproof, so don’t use this phone in the swimming pool or anywhere near water. I’m not complaining about this thing because if they have given IP67 waterproof then they need to pay for the certificate and if they did that then the price for RealMe X50 Pro could have been higher than what it is.
If Realme has launched this phone at 50k with IP67 waterproof then I don’t think most people would buy it because at 50k you can buy OnePlus (OnePlus 8 Series) or Samsung phones. So I think 38k is the best price tag but still, people will hesitate to pay 38k for this Realme brand. Do let us know your thought in the comment section below.
Overall, the build quality on this device is solid, so nothing to worry about.
RealMe X50 Pro Review: Cameras
That Pile shape notch has a 32MP selfie camera which will give you the best possible result but that’s not it, it also has an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the rear side, Realme X50 Pro has 64MP Samsung’s GW-1 sensor paired with an F/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP telephoto lens, and 2MP depth sensor.
So yes that Samsung’s GW-1 sensor is doing well. Most of the brands are using it on budget smartphones as well as in premium smartphones but still, it’s good to have a 64MP sensor in a phone.
The cameras do have all the features like super steady video, UHD recording, AR Doodle, and Crop Zoom modes, and yes with rear cameras you can shoot video in bokeh. It can also shoot video in 2160p@30fps.
RealMe X50 Pro has a good camera setup and I don’t think you will get any problems but keep in mind, that you won’t get camera quality like iPhone 11 or Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The phone does have a good camera below 40k, so if you can’t up your budget then Realme X50 Pro is the phone you’re looking for.
By the way, the phone also has a dedicated night mode which will give you better image quality under low light conditions. I will add some images down below, so do check them out.
RealMe X50 Pro Review: Performance
As you all know, the phone is powered by all-new Snapdragon 865 soc which is built on 7 nm technology with Adreno 650 GPU and Kryo 585 CPU. It’s running on the latest Realme UI 1.0 which is adapted from Color OS 7.0 and based on Android 10.
I don’t think, I need to explain for performance but still, the Snapdragon 865 is the best chipset right now in the Android mobile platform. So whether you play games, or do anything, the phone won’t let you down. Realme has used LPDDR5 Ram and UFS 3.1 which will ensure the speed.
The problem is, UI. RealMe X50 Pro is running on RealMe UI 1.0 which is adapted from Color OS 7.0. So if you don’t like color OS then better to skip this one and wait for the OnePlus 8 series.
Overall, it’s a very powerful phone but the UI the not that great.
RealMe X50 Pro Review: Battery Life
The RealMe X50 Pro is packed with a 4,200 mAh battery with is okay but it supports 65W fast charging and that 65W charger is included in the box, what else do you need.
As have said in recent articles “the battery life depends on your phone use if you every day play games for 6 hours then you need to charge a phone every 6 hours but if you’re like me and don’t use the phone very often then it will last for a day.”
In short, the phone will last for all day and if in case you use all the batteries then use a 65W charger which can charge 0% to 100% in only 44 minutes.
RealMe X50 Pro Review: Audio Quality
Sadly, the phone doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, so use a converter. Realme has also provided a stereo speaker which can be very loud and clear at the same time, call quality is also great, nothing to worry about.
RealMe X50 Pro Review with Pros and Cons: Conclusion
If you don’t care about the brand and you can work with Realme UI then Realme X50 Pro is the best and most powerful smartphone below 40k. I mean you’re getting Snapdragon 865 Soc, Six cameras, and many more things, if you don’t want these things then you can skip this one. Overall, I recommend this phone to everyone.
Pros
- Snapdragon 865 Soc
- 65W Fast Charger
- Six Cameras
- Perfect Price
Cons
- Realme UI or you can call it Color OS 7
- No 3.5mm Audio Jack Port
I know many people who want to buy Realme’s smartphone but they don’t because they don’t like Color OS and this is the only reason for you to not buy Realme X50 Pro. One more thing, I know it’s a Realme brand but if the company is proving the best product at a good price then you can put Brand tag aside.
