RealMe is back with another TWS earbuds and its successor of RealMe Buds Q1 and you guessed it right, it’s all-new RealMe Buds Q3.

The RealMe Buds Q3 comes with active noise cancellation, 10mm drivers, IPX5 ratings, fast charging support, 28 hours of battery backup, type-C port for charging, Realme R2 chipset, Bluetooth 5.2 support, low latency mode, and its’ price of Rs 2,499 in India.

Now, as you can see, it has everything that you can ever ask for in budget TMW earphones but is it worth the Rs 2,499, let’s find out in this review.

RealMe Buds Q2 Review

RealMe Buds Q2 offer great value at Rs 2,499, it has ANC & ENC which work fine and can’t complain much at this price tag while the buds have fast charging support and it will give 28 hours of battery back. RealMe has also added Bluetooth 5.2, a Type-C port. Overall, RealMe Buds Q2 is worth buying and its value for money device.

RealMe Buds Q2 does have its Pros and Cons which you can see above but overall considering the price tag, it does offer value at Rs 2,499 price tag.

RealMe Buds Q2: Good Stuff

Most budget TMW earbuds come with a USB port and RealMe just break that chain, yes, you heard it RealMe Buds Q2 has a Type-C port for charging.

10 minutes of charging will give 2 hours of battery backup. Now, if you enable ANC then buds will last for 20 hours while if you don’t use ANC then it will give about 28 hours of battery life.

The buds will give the same battery life but when you’re listening to music at 50% volume, so if you go above 50% then battery life will also reduce from 28 hours.

Bass

If you love bass as I do then this is the best option you have at a Rs 2,499 price tag. Now, we all know, that when there is bass, there won’t be good audio quality and the same can be said for RealMe Buds Q2.

Yes, buds try to boost the bass a lot and in between, it loses out on clean audio. We will talk about audio in a bit but if you love bass then this best you have at this movement.

Connectivity

RealMe Buds Q2 comes with Bluetooth 5.2 support and RealMe R2 chipset and that’s a deadly combo at the budget price tag. Overall, there won’t be any kind of problem while watching movies or listening to music.

Gaming Mode

I don’t recommend TMW earbuds for gaming but still, if you want to use wireless earbuds for gaming then Realme has added support for low latency mode which helps you a bit while gaming still, it’s good to use wired earphones for gaming.

RealMe Buds Q2: Bad Stuff

Yes, you heard it right, RealMe Buds Q2 comes with ANC, and also, it’s as bad as it can get. ANC has added to the market this bud and that’s a not bad thing, everyone does that.

So don’t buy RealMe Buds Q2 just because it has ANC support because you will be disappointed after using it.

It also has environmental noise cancellation (ENC) which means while you’re gaming to listing to music, ENC will let you hear outside noise which surprised work better but it’s not that great.

Build

Just like RealMe Buds Q1 (review), Q2 also has a bad build quality. So be careful with it.

One more thing, this RealMe Buds Q2 is not built for workouts, it will fall while running or workout.

Audio

It has the best bass but the same can’t be said for Audio. Yes, buds try to boost the bass a lot and in between, it loses out on clean audio.

Some people like to listen to slow music, and on slow music, most of the songs don’t have the bass but Realme will add bass just go you and that’s not a good thing.

There is some option you can try on the RealMe link app but that won’t work, it will give you boosted bass on all the music, no matter what kind of music listen to.

What You learn here, the RealMe Buds Q2 is for bass lovers, don’t buy if you love to hear, slow music or old classics.

More on that, RealMe Buds Q2 is not very loud, so if you’re in a crowded place then there won’t be a need to enable environmental noise cancellation (ENC).

RealMe Buds Q2 is a solid offering from RealMe but Realme tried to give everything at a budget price and because of that, it loses out on build quality, and audio quality and these are the key features for any audio product.

If RealMe had skipped the ANC and worked on audio then buds Q2 would have been the best budget TWS earbuds but RealMe wanted to market the buds so, they added ANC to the name.

Buy or Not?

If you love bass then go for it but if you want bass and also clean sound quality then RealMe Buds Q2 is not for you. As I said, buds try to boost the bass a lot and in between, it loses out on clean audio.

Also for gamers, this would be a good option.
