After the Nothing Ear Stick, we have another half-ear TWS earbuds but this is from OPPO. The OPPO Enco Air 3 is priced at Rs 2,999 and doesn’t have everything yet, it could be a good option for some users.

OPPO Enco Air 3 Review

Yes, definitely, the OPPO Enco Air 3 is worth buying as its priced at Rs 2,999 and has everything that half-ear TWS should have, however, if you want heavy bass earbuds and best-sounding earbuds then this is not the best option as its half-ear TWS.

Yes, it has all the problems like sound leakage, no ANC, or even bass which is normal for half-ear TWS. So if you’re a fan of half-ear TWS or don’t like bass that much then do consider the OPPO Enco Air 3, for the price of Rs 2999.

OPPO Enco Air 3 Pros and Cons

PROSCONS
Lightweight BuildNot Much bass due to Half Ear Design
Multi-Device SupportIt might not fit well due to missing silicon tips
Clear Sound QualityNo ANC
Long-Lasting Battery Life
Well Made App Support
Comfortable to Wear

Design and Build

The OPPO Enco Air 3 is made from 100% plastic, now the plastic quality is solid, so the buds or even the charging case doesn’t feel cheap.

The single bud has 3.75 grams of weight which is nothing compared to other TWS earbuds. Also, the charging case has 37.4 grams of weight.

In short, even if you wear the buds for 2 to 3 hours, your ears won’t hurt.

I have just given you numbers but don’t use TWS earbuds for that long, it will damage your ear in long run.

Now, the charging case has a kind of egg type of design which looks amazing, I don’t know about you but I personally, liked the how OPPO Enco Air 3 looks.

Overall, the build quality is justifiable for Rs 2,999 TWS earbuds while the design is subjective but I feel you will love what OPPO has created.

Audio Quality

There is nothing much to talk about, these are half-ear TWS earbuds, so you won’t get much bass while it’s not the best option for a workout as it will fall off while running or doing any sort of exercise because it doesn’t have silicon tips.

Now, the buds do give clear sound, so if you love to listen to Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar’s music then you will fall in love with the OPPO Enco Air 3.

Also, keep in mind, because of the missing silicon tips, you will hear outside noise and if you keep the volume above 60% then the person sitting next to you will also be able to hear what you’re hearing.

The reason is simple, there are no silicon tips to block the music, so it will leak one way or another.

By the way, there is no ANC support too which is okay as this is 3k TWS earbuds, and also, as this is half-ear TWS, you can’t expect the ANC, anyways.

In short, to get the best sound, keep the volume to 80% and enjoy the classical music as these buds won’t give much bass.

NOTE: Don’t buy OPPO Enco Air 3 for gaming at all as the buds don’t have dedicated gaming mode and the latency is not good for playing games like COD Mobile or any other.

Call Quality

OPPO has done a fantastic job when it comes to calling, whether you’re in a public place or at home, another person on call will able to hear your voice because the buds have the rock-solid microphone and OPPO has also, optimized the same for all kind of environments.

We have seen the same kind of call quality in many of OPPO’s earbuds, so there is nothing new to talk about.

So yes, you will be more than happy with its call quality but keep in mind, the buds don’t fall off from your ears as these are half-ear TWS earbuds.

Battery Life

OPPO has claimed that OPPO Enco Air 3 will provide 25 hours of battery backup but the same doesn’t reflect the same in real life. You can expect the charging case to last for 18 hours with a 100% charge.

While the buds will provide up to 3 to 3.5 hours of battery life, depending on how you use them.

Still, the battery life is solid, it’s good enough for day-to-day usage.

Summary

OPPO Enco Air 3 is a good option, if you’re on the hunt for half-ear TWS earbuds under Rs 5,000 otherwise, it doesn’t make any sense to buy this earbud over RealMe buds Air 3.
