At Apple Event 2019, Compnay has launched iPhone 11 Series, Apple TV Plus along with 7th generation iPad which will be the cheapest iPad that ever made. Now let’s talk about, what new Apple has done it this time, and is it worth buying or not?
First, let’s talk about the specifications,
The all-new iPad is running on iPadOS, and it has 10.20-inches display with the resolution of 2160 pixels by 1620 and pixel density of 264ppi, there is also 500-nit peak brightness. Like last generation iPad, this one also sports First-generation apple pensile and apple keyboard, which you need to buy separately from Apple Store or online.
Under the hood, iPad 7th Generation is powered by A10 A10 Fusion chip, alongside the M10 coprocessor. Talking about cameras, it has 8-megapixel rear-facing camera setup with F/2.4 aperture and 1.2-megapixel front camera with F/.2 aperture.
About Connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth v4.0, with the Wi-Fi + Celluar model also gaining GPS and LTE connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi calling, It also features stereo speakers and dual microphones.
As always, Apple did not reveal the battery percentage but it will last for 9 hours. And yes, it has Touch ID.
Is it worth buying iPad 7th Generation (2019)
If you are looking for a tablet and your budget is about 30k then there is no better option then 7th gen iPad. You are getting huge 10.2-inch display, Touch ID, A10 Fusion chip, latest iPad OS out of the box, I mean it’s a perfect deal for the student.
I know in India, the price is higher than the US but this is what Apple has been doing for years.
Right now, I’m using 5th gen iPad which is bought for Rs 28,000 in 2017, and still, it’s working fine. You can also go for Android tablet but security updates for years, the performance is not going to be same as the iPad.
By the way, I’m not an Apple fanboy, but it’s fact that when it’s come to tablet, there is nothing better than iPad’s. So just go with 7th generation, and if you are using 6th gen iPad then don’t buy this new iPad because you are only getting bigger display and A10 chipset.
