Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Display Controversy: Glass or Plastic?

Galaxy Z Flip leaked

At Galaxy unpacked Event, Samsung said, we have launched the world’s first foldable phone with the glass display panel and this is what most of the people bought it but recently JeryRigEverything did a Durability Test test of Galaxy Z Flip and its tuns on Samsung didn’t use 100% glass panel? TO know more you can watch the video,

As you have seen, the used glass is not that great because it can be screeched through nails, so the question is what kind of glass they have used for this $1,380 Galaxy Z Flip?.

After JeryRigEverything uploaded a video on YouTube, Samsung also shared a video and they said, we have used a protective layer on top of the glass panel for security reasons like what they have done with Galaxy Fold.

Now the question is if someone removed the layer or somehow that layer damages then what will happen to Galaxy Z flip?, for now, Samsung didn’t clear the answer but if anything comes up then it will be updated.

Here is the video which Samsung shared,

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Display Controversy: My Thoughts

I think Samsung must clear about display because if a person is paying $1399 for smartphone and display gets screeched through nails then I don’t know about you but I won’t pay $1399 for Galaxy Z Flip. I know, it’s new technology and it will take some time to get better.

I get it but a company must clear, what kind of glass they have used, so if a person is buying this expensive phone, at last, he/she has an idea, what they are buying.

Overall, I would say, Galaxy Z Flip is the best Foldable device till now, so huge thumbs up for that. Now do let us know, your thoughts in the comment section below.
