Is It Worth buying Redmi Note 9 Pro Max?

Is It Worth Buying Redmi Note 9 Pro Max

Like Redmi Note 9 Pro, this Max version is also powered by Snapdragon 720G which is an 8nm processor. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 5,020 mAh non-removable battery with 33W fast charging support, 64MP Quad camera setup and priced at Rs 14,999 for 6GB of Ram and 64GB storage.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max starts at 15k and this is where things get complicated. We already have POCO X2 at 15k and with great specification, now it depends on you what you’re looking for. If I say directly,

Yes, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is worth buying at 15k because the phone has Snapdragon 720G, whopping 5,020 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, 64MP Quad camera setup, Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides, amazing design. Yet, it depends on what you’re looking for on a smartphone or for what you need a phone.

Why Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is worth buying?

First, let’s talk about competition,

We have POCO X2, Realme X2, Realme 6 Pro. Now the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max doesn’t have AMOLED display because Redmi is gone with a punch-hole display. Realme X2 is priced at 17k and RealMe 6 Pro too priced at 17k, so we’re not talking about these two devices. Let’s talk about POCO X2.

POCO X2 comes with Snapdragon 730G Soc, 4,500 battery with 27W fast charging support, 120W refresh rate, and this POCO X2 is priced at 14,999. While Redmi Note 9 Pro Max only doesn’t have 120W refresh rate display, all the other thing is almost the same as what is present on POCO X2.

As of now, we don’t have many games who support 90Hz or even 120Hz display. So if you’re okay with 60Hz display then I would say, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is better then POCO X2.

Now if you ask me, will you buy Redmi Note 9 Pro?

No, I won’t. The main reason for that is, if I’m spending 15k then I would add 2k more and buy Realme X2 because this phone has AMOLED display and I will always pick AMOLED over the LCD display. Now, that’s me, I’m not saying you should buy Realme X2.

As I have said, in the end, it depends on what kind of activity you do on your smartphone. For me, gaming is not an important part yet the Realme X2 has 730G soc and good camera setup, so this is the perfect phone me.

Now you tell me, which one you would buy if you’re looking for a phone below 20k in India.
