Weekly Tech Update

Is it Worth buying POCO M2 Pro?

POCO M2 pro launched

POCO M2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 720G, it comes with a 6.67 inches display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, Quad camera setup, whopping 5,020 mAh non-removable battery with 33W fast charging support, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the POCO M2 Pro is priced at Rs 13,999 for 4GB of Ram and 64GB Storage.

Don’t get me wrong but POCO M2 Pro is a re-branded version of Redmi Note 9 Pro which is currently available in India but after the launch of POCO M2 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro is dispersed.

You’re getting this right, Redmi Note 9 Pro did not sell as good as previous Redmi Phones. So what Xiaomi did is, they launched Redmi Note 9 Pro under the POCO brand. So let’s find out, whether you should buy POCO M2 Pro or not?

Is it Worth buying POCO M2 Pro?

Yes, the POCO M2 Pro is worth buying because it has powerful Snapdragon 720G, whopping 5,020 battery with 33W fast charging support and much more that is worth the Rs 13,999 price tag.

But hear me out, the phone comes with tons of bloatware. The Indian government has recently banned 59 Chinese apps and guess what, POCO has pre-installed Clean Master – Cheetah Mobile, helo app and some other.

Also, the Cleaner application did not ask for any permission and if you open the setting and take a look at the permission tab, the Cleaner app has granted all the permission without asking you.

The POCO M2 Pro has good specification and it is worth buying but there is some concern about security. Now if you ignore the Clean Master – Cheetah Mobile, helo app then the phone also has tons of bloatware including games and apps which you will uninstall later on.

I have added the specification of POCO M2 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro, just take a look and tell me what’s difference

Conclusion

As I have said, POCO M2 Pro is worth buying because it has almost everything which 14k smartphone should have. So if you buy this, you won’t get any problem while playing games or even while surfing through apps.

By the way, the POCO M2 Pro is a Chinese phone which could be a problem for some people. If you have money some extra money and if you can invest in your security then go with a non-Chinese smartphone.

I also understand that every single people can’t afford 50k smartphone. Those people can buy POCO M2 Pro. You won’t get any problem with the performance.
