Now, if you already own the OnePlus 7T or OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T Pro then you don’t need to upgrade to OnePlus 8 or even to OnePlus 8 Pro because you’re not getting a huge upgrade.

Is it worth Buying OnePlus 8?
I would, yes, and no because you’re getting a good smartphone yet it’s no perfect smartphone. You’re getting Snapdragon 865 which expensive chip with X55 modem and this is the reason why the phone is priced at 42k. The Indian government also increased the GST on smartphones, so that’s why this didn’t come under 40k.
OnePlus 8 does have a good camera setup but it’s not worth 42k. If you’re getting OnePlus 7T at 35k then why you want to spend 7k more for just new design and for 5G. I would say, OnePlus 8 is not worth buying still, if you want 5G and new design then OnePlus 8 is the phone for you.
With OnePlus 8, you got the same rear design from OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T Pro and also the same triple rear camera setup. An instant of a telephoto lens OnePlus went with a macro lens that no one uses, the telephoto lens would have a great choice.
So I would say, OnePlus did compromise in the camera department to keep price low as possible.
Conclusion
If you want to buy a new phone and if your budget is below 50k then still, OnePlus 7T is a great choice but still, if you want a new phone and don’t want to spend money in the old phone then OnePlus 8 is the phone you’re looking for. OnePlus 8 is not worth buying at Rs 41,999 because you’re not getting 42k price specifications.
**At Rs 41,999 you’re only getting green color variant, so if you don’t like green then you have to buy Rs 44,999 variant. OnePlus wants you to spend more money…
