Is it worth buying a Nokia 7.2
The Nokia 7.2 has everything that you need in a budget smartphone, it has, powerful processor, great camera setup, wonderful battery life, solid build quality. So like every smartphone, Nokia 7.2 has its own pros and cons, yes Nokia 7.2 is an overpriced phone. Yet, if you are looking for Stock Android phone and great built then Nokia 7.2 great deal, or, you don’t care about UI then let’s take a closer look at this device.
Nokia 7.2 Display Quality & Build
Nokia 7.2 comes with a 6.30-inches Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340, it also has a waterdrop notch. The phone’s dimensions are 159.88×75.11×8.25mm and it weighs 180 grams.
One thing to note, Nokia didn’t say anything about which version of Gorilla glass they have used on this device, as per the source, the phone has gorilla glass 3 on both sides. So yes you are getting very old display protection for almost 20k.
The display quality is great on this device, so there is nothing to worry about display. The phone has glass unibody and yet, Nokia has done a really good job in terms of built quality and I can say Nokia 7.2 has the best-built quality under 20k.
Nokia 7.2 Performance
The Nokia 7.2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Soc which is built on 14 nm technology with Adreno 512 GPU and Kryo 260 CPU, it’s running on Android 9.0 (Pie), the phone is part of Android One Project which means you will get Android 10 update very soon…
It has an old chipset but a good chipset, that doesn’t mean its worth 20k. Right now we have lots of smartphones with a better processor then Nokia 7.2, so what makes Nokia 7.2 so special. It has stock UI which means it will perform really good as compared to custom UI.
Snapdragon 660 can handle all the high-graphical games without any problem. So performance is going to good but not good has Redmi K20 or RealMe XT.
Coming to the camera department, the Nokia 7.2 has a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor with F/1.79 aperture, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with F/2.2 aperture, and 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, it has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter with an F/2.0 aperture.
The most important thing on this phone is cameras, yes it has the wonderful camera setup and yes it’s going to be better then RealMe XT’s 64 MP sensor. As I have said, more pixel means clear image and yes RealMe XT will give you clear but when it’s come to details, it’s not that great. More you can read on RealMe XT Review.
So yes, if you are looking for the best camera phone below 20k then yes Nokia 7.2 might be the phone for you.
As I have said, Nokia 7.2 has everything to accept a good price. yes the phone is overpriced and because of that I won’t recommend this phone but if you are looking for a good camera and Stock UI experience then the Nokia 7.2 is the only option for you. Performance is also good on this one and you won’t get any problem while using it but Snapdragon 660 is now below 10k processor and if you are getting it for 20k then it’s acceptable in 2019.
So if you only want Stock UI and good camera setup and work with good performance then Nokia 7.2 is for you or you can also check out RealMe XT, RealMe X, Redmi K20 or wait for Redmi Note 8 series.
