Arrow

Redmi 11 Prime 5G price in India starts from Rs 13,499 for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage in India.

CAMERAS

It comes with 50MP primary sensor and 2MP Depth while there is a 8MP selfie shooter on the front

Now, let’s just ignore the 2MP depth sensor and talk about the 50MP primary sensor,

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G is priced at Rs 13,999 but the camera feels like an Rs 8000 smartphone.

Even under the good lighting, the images didn’t give accurate details, The 50MP sensor was trying to add white colors more and more, and because of that, the details got lost.

Now, don’t get started on night images, they’re just straight-up garbage. You won’t even feel like posting them on social media.

Back to the 8MP front camera, This sensor also does the same thing, it tries to add white colors, so yes, you will look more white and a bit colorful as well.

In a single line, Redmi 11 Prime has three sensors but non of them are useful.

Display

The phone comes with a 6.58-inches 90Hz LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and 400nits brightness.

The 400 nits brightness is not good at all, sometimes it gets a bit hard to read the text under the sunlight.

The device has a plastic back, the front is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and the frame is also made out of plastic.

Overall, the display could have been better.

Performance

The POCO M5 4G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700  processor and its runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12

MediaTek Dimensity 700 is a well-optimized processor, so there is nothing to worry about performance, you will be able to play games like Apex Legends, COD Mobile, or even BGMI without any problems at 40fps.

Redmi has added 7 5G bands which include N1, n3, n5, n8, n28, n40, and n78. This means you will be able to take advantage of the 5G network whenever it launches in your city.

Overall, the MediaTek Dimensity 700 is an excellent processor but Redmi is charging Rs 1000 extra. So I would say it again, consider the POCO M4 5G over Redmi 11 Prime 5G

Audio

The POCO M5 4G has Single speaker and wait for it, yes it also has a 3.5mm audio jack too.

The single speaker is good but it’s not very good, it’s not a loudspeaker and the clarity is also not that great.

Battery

The device comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and yes, the 18W charger is supplied in the box.

Again, I have to say, this is Rs 14000 smartphone and yet, Redmi has only provided an 18W charging speed which is not acceptable at all. The device will take 1.5 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.

The battery will easily last for the day because of the processor. It also depends on your usage, what kind of apps or games you play.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G is a pricey smartphone and one should not pay a premium for a re-brand, we have tons of better smartphones available under Rs 15000, so you can just ignore the Redmi 11 Prime 5G and Move on with your life.

Verdict

To put it simply, if you wanted to buy a 5G smartphone for under Rs 15000 then do consider the POCO M4 5G over Redmi 11 Prime 5G.
