Yes, Save Money and Don't buy RealMe 8s 5G but why?
Written by Rahul Makwana
RealMe 8s 5G just launched in India at Rs 17,999 price tag which is bit extra for the specs. So let's whether you should spend 18k or not?
Let’s get started!
RealMe 8 Series
RealMe 8s 5G comes with a 6.50-inches FHD+ 90Hz LCD and has 600 nits of pick brightness.
This is where, RealMe has done good job but still, I feel as this is 18k smartphone, 120Hz or 90Hz AMOLED display would have been better option
Coming to SoC, MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G is good processor. There won't be any problem and now, let's talk for what you came for.
RealMe 8s 5G has 64MP primary sensor, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor while there is a 16MP.
As I have said in the review, the camera doesn't justify the 18k price tag. It looks like, 12k or even 10k camera setup.
I mean, it doesn't have ultra-wide lens but it has 2+2MP sensors. So yes, don't expect the camera to be good.
Also, the RealMe 8S 5G is made out plastic and there is no mention which glass has been used on front.
It doesn't have No Stereo Speakers, No Carrier Aggregation, and LCD Display which is not the best option at 18k price tag.
Now, you know this already, RealMe 8s 5G is bit pricey. So if you want to pay extra money for 5G network then go for it.
Overall, if you're okay with 4G then go for POCO X3 Pro or Redmi 10 Pro otherwise, you can also look at Narzo 30 Pro 5G too.
