Infinix Note 12 5G - Only 1 Problem

Written by Rahul Makwana

Infinix Note 12 5G price in India starts from Rs 14,999 for 6GB RAM + 64 GB storage in India.

The Infinix Note 12 5G comes with a 50MP primary sensor, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP AI sensor while there is a 16MP selfie shooter on the front.

Don't expect anything from the cameras, be happy with what smartphone offers because the Infinix Note 12 5G has average cameras.

The phone relies on EIS which doesn’t work at all, most of the time videos come out shaky even at 1080p@30fps, the thing doesn’t change.

I don’t know whether you have noticed or not but the phone doesn’t have an ultra-wide lens, so what you can do is, ignore those 2MP+2MP sensors for your own good.

It has 6.70-inches 60Hz AMOLED display, in short, you will be more then happy with the display but still, I feel, Infinix shouldn't have gone with waterdrop notch.

We have seen the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor in quite of few smartphones and it’s well an optimized processor from MediaTek.

By the way, the phone has 12 5G Bands,, Stereo Speakers and there is no support for, carrier aggregation, NFC while there is no secondary noise cancellation microphone either.

The phone runs on XOS 10.6 based on Android 12, Infinix didn’t say anything about future updates.

The device has 5,000mAH battery with 33W charging support. The device will last for a day and a half but it also depends on how you use the smartphone.

Battery Life

The Infinix Note 12 5G does have stereo speakers but they can’t be called stereo because the upper side of the speaker is not that loud, you will only hear sound from the bottom speaker.

Audio Quality

Do I recommend the Infinix Note 12 5G? the answer is NO.

Still, if you’re that person who wanted to buy a gaming smartphone and you don’t care about the UI, cameras, design, and build quality then you can consider the Infinix Note 12 5G.
