Camera Quality

Guess what, there is nothing extraordinary about Galaxy F54 5G cameras.

The 108MP primary sensor does have OIS which works great when shooting videos at 1080@30/60fps but it doesn't work the best at 4k@30fps.

While the videos are not close to natural, it boosts the colors a little bit and it's more on the softer side even in good lighting conditions.

The same goes for photography as well.

I mean, Nothing Phone 1 takes better images than the Galaxy F54 5G which is huge because Nothing Phone 1 was launched a year ago.

The 8MP ultra-wide takes good images under good lights but

8MP ultra-wide lens,

it does soften the images while avoid using the ultra-wide lens at night because this is a smaller sensor, so it won’t provide good details.

The 2MP macro sensor is there.

Talking about the 32MP selfie shooter, this takes good images and I mean it.

So if you’re into selfies and wanted a good smartphone that takes good selfies then you might need to consider the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G.

In short, buy Samsung Galaxy F54 5G, if you’re okay with decent cameras that provide saturated colors.

Display Quality

The phone has a massive 6.70-inch sAMOLED display with HDR10 support

the good news is, you can stream HDR content on Netflix and even on YouTube.

Also, the phone has a decent 800 nits brightness which is not the best but it gets the job done.

The big letdown is, not having an in-display fingerprint sensor. This is cost-cutting because the phone has an AMOLED panel, so it‘s not that hard to add an in-display fingerprint sensor at all.

Performance

The Exynos 1380 is not a powerful SoC at all, it provides performance close to the Snapdragon 778G which was launched years ago.

In short, the Galaxy F54 5G is not for power-hungry users. Buy it, if you’re not into gaming and you don’t use smartphones outdoors a lot.

Samsung has promised 5 years of security updates and 4 years of OS updates which means, the Galaxy F54 5G will get Android 14, 15, 16, and 17.

This is a proper OneUI with all the features. Fyi, it runs on OneUI 5.10 based on Android 13.

Overall, for the price of Rs 30,000, the Galaxy F54 5G is not a powerful smartphone and it is made for the casual user

Audio

Let me give you a shock, the Galaxy F54 5G doesn't have a stereo speaker or even a 3.5mm Audio jack, and yet, it's priced at Rs 29,999.

The single speaker is not good at all

Battery Life

No charger in the box but it does support 25W wired charging which will take 2 hours and 20 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%

Also, the gaming performance is not that great, so you won’t play games for hours on this phone, so this way, you will save a lot of battery life.

By the way, a 25W Samsung Official charger costs Rs 1,299

Verdict

Samsung Galaxy F54 5G is not a perfect smartphone, it's made for those users who only wanted to buy Samsung phones and don’t care much about other brand but

if you want value for a money device then kindly stay away from this phone and look for a better phone because we have a ton under Rs 30,000.
