POCO is now an independent brand yet they are just launching what Redmi launches in china, they just put their brand name. As per POCO General Manager Manmohan Chandolu confirmed that the Poco F2 Pro will be different from the Redmi K30 Pro but as per some recent rumors, the POCO F2 Pro will be a re-branded version of Redmi K30 Pro.
Update 8th May 2020 at 07:57 AM POCO is launching a new smartphone on 13th May 2020 globally. As of now, we don’t have any idea whether it’s going to be POCO F2 or M2 Pro but we’re getting a new POCO branded phone on this 13th May.
Update 13th May 2020 at 08:39 AM POCO F2 Pro is officially launched and it’s rebranded version of Redmi K30 Pro. The phone starts at EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 40,800) for 6GB Ram + 128GB storage.
There is a strong possibility that POCO will launch two smartphones under the F series. One will be POCO F2 Pro and another one will be POCO F2.
POCO F2 Pro Release date
POCO Global twitter account is teasing the new smartphone for a while with the #WakeUpPoco hashtag that means we will see an announcement very soon. As per some rummers, the new POCO phone might be coming at the end of May 2020 or the start of June. Yet, we don’t know the official release date.
POCO might also launch the POCO F2 yet it’s not confirmed but it could happen.
POCO F2 Pro Price
POCO hasn’t said anything about upcoming POCO F2 Pro. Recently Portuguese website 4gnews has leaked the price for POCO F2 Pro. As per the leak, the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant will be priced at EUR 649 (around Rs 54,000) while the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant will be priced at EUR 749 (around Rs 63,000).
The price is kind of expensive, now it good to see what will be the official price because POCO F1 was launched at 20k in India and if this POCO F2 Pro comes above 50k then I don’t know what will happen.

As per the recent report, POCO F2 Pro will be the re-branded version of Redmi K20 Pro which means you will get Redmi K30 Pro but with the POCO branding.

Coming to the camera department, the POCO F2 Pro might have 64MP primary sensor, 5MP telephoto lens, 13MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, 20MP selfie shooter.
You will be getting 6GB of Ram and 128GB storage, 8GB of Ram and 128GB storage, and 8GB of Ram and 256GB storage variants. The POCO F2 Pro will have the 4,700 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support but the phone won’t have the wireless charging support.
