The Microsoft foldable Surface Duo is showing up on Wednesday at its annual Surface hardware event in New York. According to Microsoft, the phone will be launching in the summer of 2020. As we said the phone is running on the Android operating system but it has its own custom skin, and it’s still in the development, from the look it looks like Microsoft has also implemented some of the Windows 10x features.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which is built on 7 nm technology, so yes performance is going to be pretty good. For now, there is official confirmation regarding the camera, so if anything comes up then it will be updated here.

By the way, the foldable Surface Duo has two 5.6-inch displays that expand to an 8.3-inch device. The phone is totally different from Samsung Galaxy fold because the foldable Surface Duo has two separate displays.

“This product brings together the absolute best of Microsoft, and we’re partnering with Google to bring the absolute best of Android in one product,” Microsoft Product Chief Panos Panay said. “This is industry pushing technology.”
