Is it Worth Buying IQOO 7

Is it Worth Buying IQOO 7

IQOO had launched IQOO 3 and now, they jumped directly to 7. IQOO 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and it’s running on Fun Touch OS 11.1-based on Android 11.

The IQOO 7 comes with a 6.62-inches 120Hz AMOLED display, 66W fast charging support, powerful Snapdragon 870 SoC, 4400 mAh battery, 5G Support, in-display fingerprint sensor, and it’s priced at Rs 31,990 for 8GB Ram and 128GB storage in India.

So let’s take closer look at 7th gen IQOO smartphone and see what new IQOO is offering but before that let me tell you India price of IQOO 7 5G.

IQOO 7 (8GB+128GB)Rs 31,990
IQOO 7 (8GB+256GB)Rs 33,990

Is it Worth Buying IQOO 7

Yes, IQOO 7 is worth buying because it’s priced at Rs 31,999 at this price tag IQOO is offering powerful Snapdragon 870 SoC, 5G connectivity, massive 66W fast charging, solid build, in-display fingerprint, 120Hz AMOLED display. Considering the price tag, IQOO 7 is worth buying and it’s a value-for-money device.

As I said, IQOO 7 comes with 5G connectivity but it only supports one 5G band which is N78. Now, will you call it 5G?

[wpforms id=”15734″]

I mean, technically, it’s a 5G phone but when 5G launches in India, things could be complicated. If the network provider doesn’t give support for N78 then what you gonna do?. Having more than one 5G band makes more sense.

For those who are wondering, why 5G bands are important?

For example, 5G just launched in India, and almost all the network provider doesn’t give support for n78 then here, you won’t able to use 5G and you have to buy a new phone if you want to use 5G.

Talking about cameras, technically, the phone has triple rear cameras featuring 48MP primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide, and 2MP depth sensor from which only primary & ultra-wide will be useful, that depth sensor is just for marketing.

Keep in mind, IQOO 7 is a gaming smartphone and this phone does have a good camera but at 32k, it doesn’t have the best cameras, for the best cameras, take look at Vivo X60 5G (review) or even Mi 11X 5G (review). More I will say in IQOO 7 review, so stay tune for that.

Conclusion: Buy or Not?

IQOO 7 is worth buying because, at a 32k price, this phone offers good specifications. If you look at MI 11X 5G which is priced at 30k and has almost the same specification as IQOO 7, here I would say, if you want to save money then Mi 11X is a good option but if you can pay extra two thousand then IQOO 7 is also not the bad option.

Which One I would I recommend?

If you ask me, I say save two thousand and go with MI 11X 5G but if you want 66W fast charging and if you can pay 2k extra for that then go for IQOO 7, you won’t be disappointed. On the other hand, Mi 11X has 33W fast charging.
