Samsung Galaxy F41 Review with Pros and Cons
Galaxy F series has just arrived and it’s budget-focused series that means from now, you will see 15k to 20k smartphone under this series while Galaxy M series will be sold at 20k. I have already said that Galaxy F41 is not worth buying because it’s re-brand of Galaxy M21 with little bit camera changes but if you want to know more then let’s review the Galaxy F41 and see why this one is not for you…
Samsung Galaxy F41 India Price
This is bit confusing because Samsung has announced two prices. The Galaxy F41 will be available from October 16, 2020 through Flipkart. It will be available in Fusion Black, Fusion Blue, Fusion Green color options.
Samsung Galaxy F41 | Launch Price | Regular Price |
6GB Ram + 64GB Storage | Rs 15,499 | Rs 16,999 |
6GB Ram + 128GB Storage | Rs 16,499 | Rs 17,999 |

Galaxy F41 Build and Display Quality
Display Size | 6.40 inches |
Dimensions | 159.2 x 75.1 x 8.9 mm |
Display Type | FHD+ sAMOLED Display |
Screen Refresh Rate | 60Hz refresh rate |
Resolutions | 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution |
There is no doubt Samsung makes the best display but this time they didn’t add new display it’s the same as Galaxy M21. So if you have seen Galaxy M21 then there is nothing new here, it’s the same display and design. Samsung has just launched another budget centric smartphone under the new series.

The phone has waterdrop notch, there is no punch-hole display. The phone has 6.40 inches sAMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The display is visible under the sunlight, so if you use Galaxy F41 outdoors then there won’t be any problem in viewing angles.
By the way, this is the 60Hz display and it has 159.2 x 75.1 x 8.9 mm screen dimensions. You can’t expect 90Hz from Samsung in the budget segment. This is an AMOLED screen, I’m not complaining about 90Hz because I always choose AMOLED over 90Hz LCD display.
Overall, there won’t be any problem in display quality because it’s the same as Galaxy M21. About design, it depends on you whether you like old waterdrop notch or not?
The Galaxy F41 has a plastic back and Gorilla Glass 3 on the front, I can’t say much because most of the brands are providing same kind build quality, so Samsung didn’t do anything out of the box. Samsung is calling it glasstic build that’s a fancy way to say, plastic build.
The phone weight is about 191 gram which is good because it has missive 6,000 mAh battery, so here Samsung balanced the weight, it’s not very heavy.
Galaxy F41 Cameras
Camera (Rear) | 64 MP Primary 8 MP Ultra-Wide 5 MP Depth Sensor |
Video Recording (Rear) | [email protected], [email protected]/60fps, [email protected]/60fps |
Camera (Front) | 32 MP selfie camera |
Video Recording (Front) | [email protected], [email protected]/60fps, [email protected]/60fps |
Samsung Galaxy F41 has triple rear camera setup, so here they can’t add quad-camera setup because Galaxy M21 had the triple camera setup, they can’t just change the design to add one more sensor. If they have done that then Galaxy F41 could have come with totally new design and new processor.
It has 64MP primary sensor + 8MP Ultra wide + 5MP depth sensor while there is a 32MP selfie shooter. The image quality will be the same as Galaxy M21, there won’t be huge changes but of course, that 64MP sensor will give more detailed images then 48MP on Galaxy M21.
The phone also has dedicated night mode which is good but it’s not the best on a budget centric smartphone. As of now, there is no Gcam available for Galaxy F41 but maybe after some time, developers will make APK which will make a huge difference in night photography but as of now, Galaxy F41 doesn’t give the best night photography even with night-mode.

Like Galaxy M31s, this phone too has a one-take feature. So One-Take feature takes a variety of images, videos with pre-applied filters, as well as hyper-lapse and boomerang video effects. This could be a good feature for some people but I don’t think the normal user will use this feature is day to day is but it’s good to have in smartphone rather than not having at all.
Like every single smartphone, Galaxy F41 also has the Pro mode where you can adjust the IOS, Sutter-speed and more. So if you want perfect image then this could be good feature to play around.
Overall, Galaxy F41 doesn’t have the best image quality at Rs 16,999 price tag. There are phones like RealMe 7, POCO X3 and many more who offer much better image quality then Galaxy F41. I said, 17k because this is going to be price after some time If someone read this review after month and see 15k price tag then you know what gonna happen.
Galaxy F41 Performance
Chipset | Exynos 9611 (10nm) |
GPU | Mali-G72 MP3 |
CPU | Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A53) |
OS | OneUI 2.1 based on Android 10 |
Samsung Galaxy F41 is the best phone if you want to gift this phone to your parents because old people do like the Samsung brand and they will enjoy this phone but for adults, this one is not the best because it’s powered by Exynos 9611 processor and it won’t able to handle heavy games for long term.
You all know how Exynos 9611 will perform in day to day use, so let’s not waste time and let me add some of the paragraphs from Galaxy M31s review…
I don’t know why Samsung used Exynos 9611 Processor, they have used this chip in every single budget category smartphone, and yet, they just can’t let go of this processor. Samsung has given almost everything perfect in Galaxy F41 but the processor is where I don’t recommend this phone to everyone.
Overall, if you gonna play games like COD mobile or any other heavy games then I think you should just skip this phone because in long-term you will regret, so it’s better to go with Qualcomm processor.
Galaxy F41 Battery Life
Battery Size | 6,000 mAh (non-removable) |
Charging Port | Type-C Port |
Charging Speed | 15W Fast Charging |
The Galaxy F41 comes with massive 6,000 mAh non-removable battery with 15W fast charging support. The battery will last for two days but it will also take some time to charge 100%.
I said two days of battery life, this is for those who don’t use a smartphone for gaming, if you’re casual user then this will give about two days but if you play games then it can be dead in one day.
“the battery life depends on your phone use if you every day play games for 6 hours then you need to charge a phone in every 6 hours but if you’re like me and don’t use the phone very often then it will last for a day or so”
Samsung Galaxy F41: Verdict
Samsung Galaxy F41 is not value for money smartphone, if you can ignore the phone, it will save your money but if you want that Samsung brand then this could be a good option. It has out-dated Exynos 9611 Processor, only 15W charging support, plastic body and old design which is the reason why Galaxy F41 is not worth buying.
Do I recommend Galaxy F41?
I don’t recommend Galaxy F41 to anyone because why you want to spend your money in a device that won’t last for a year, it will slow down after some time but if you want Samsung brand then as I have said, this is one of the best option.

That was the review of Galaxy F41, as you know, this is not the best option below 20k. Still, do let me know what you think about Galaxy F series in the comments.
What is best option in between Samsung F41 & Realme 7 for parents?
Galaxy F41 Would be great Option… RealMe 7 is also a good one but I think for Old people, Samsung would be the best option.
Does realme 7 has issues for call due to noise cancellation hole absence
Do we face issues in call quality
Absolutely, if you’re in crowded place then other person on call won’t able to hear your voice clearly…
