Redmi K20 Pro Review
The Redmi K20 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which is built on 7 nm technology with Adreno 640 GPU inside and 1×2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 485 CPU. It’s running on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The Redmi K20 Pro comes with triple rear camera setup featuring 48-megapixel primary sensor with F/1.75 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with F/2.4 aperture, and 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor with F/2.4 aperture. On the front side, it has 20-megapixel motorized pop-up selfie camera setup with the F/2.2 camera setup.
Talking about the display, the smartphone has (HDR+) 6.39-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with the resolution of 1080 pixel by 2340, the handset is protected with gorilla glass 5 protection on the front as well as on the rear side. It is packed with 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with 27W fast charging support.
The Redmi K20 Pro is available in Carbon black, Red flame, Glacier blue color variant. It will go on sale via Flipkart In and Xiaomi website on 22nd July 2018 at 12:00 PM.

Redmi K20 Pro Review: Design & Display Quality
Recently I have posted Redmi K20 (Review) and just saying both the K20 & K20 Pro has the same design and build quality, in another word, if you are holding both the device then you will not able to see the difference in build quality or design unless you check the internals.
By the way, the Redmi K20 Pro is protected with gorilla glass 5 in the rear as well as on the front side, so you don’t need to worry about build quality. But keep in mind, glass is going to be glass, so I recommend you to use a solid back cover on this device.
The Redmi K20 Pro comes with 2019 trend which menas it has motorized pop-up selfie camera setup and due to that Redmi able to get 91.9% screen to body ratio. It also has the 7th-generation in-display fingerprint sensor and it’s quite fatter than other devices in this price range.
Many of you are asked about the multi-touch issue in Redmi K20 Pro, because of that I have tested this device but I haven’t found any issue in the display but of course, if any thing comes up then it will be updated here. The smartphone has one of the best and powerful chipsets inside and beside of that Redmi has used 8-layer graphite cooling system and because of that Snapdragon 855 will give you better performance in gaming & day to day uses.
When a device comes with Snapdragon 855 chipset then I don’t think you need to worry about performance but still, I have teated this device, and I have played almost every single games that are popular in Play Store like Fortnite, PUBG, Asphalt 9, Modern Combat 5 and many others as well.
For now, I haven’t face any problem regarding anything, so yes if you want the best gaming smartphone below 30k then this might be the best choice for you.
Now let’s talk about the most controversial thing is happening on social media account is, of course, the price for the Redmi K series devices. Before we talk further here is the price of the Redmi K20 Pro,

First of all, I don’t think the price for Redmi K20 Pro is too much because Redmi is offering you all most everything in best price range but the thing is it’s Redmi and people have expected 25k from the company. If you can see the Redmi K20 Pro has an in-display fingerprint sensor, motorized pop-up selfie camera setup, full view display, Snapdragon 855 chipset, 27W charging support, glass unibody, and MIUI which is power sufficient UI.
So if you are getting all those specifications under the price of Rs 27,999 then personally speaking you are getting the best deal. And if you are comparing this device with POCO F1 then you need to know that POCO F1 only focused on Performance while Redmi K20 Pro has covered everything.
In short words, it is a 2.0 killer device. So yes Redmi K20 Pro is not an overpriced smartphone and yes you can buy this device if your budget is about 28k.
Redmi K20 Pro Review: Cameras
Redmi K20 & K20 Pro has the same camera setup and same sensors but still, the Redmi K20 Pro will give you better camera performance then Redmi K20, let’s find out. Before that here is the camera internals…
The Redmi K20 Pro comes with triple rear camera setup featuring 48-megapixel primary sensor with F/1.75 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with F/2.4 aperture, and 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor with F/2.4 aperture. On the front side, it has 20-megapixel motorized pop-up selfie camera setup with the F/2.2 camera setup.
Considering the price point the smartphone has the best camera setup. Under the good lighting conditions, the Redmi K20 Pro do perform well and it can take good quality of pictures and the one thing I didn’t like about this device is, when you capture an image, the photos turn out a little bit overexposed.
I’m not a big fan of overexposed images because when smartphone tasks overexposed image then the background details will disappear. Some people like this kind of images because it just Sharpe the images and gives you white tint kind of effect.
Now I’m just waiting for developers to port GCam app for Redmi K20 Pro.
In short word, at this price point, you can’t complain about this kind of things because it’s not Samsung Galaxy s10 plus. Overall as I have said it has the best camera setup under 30k price range, so if you want to buy this device then you just open Flipkart India page on 22nd July 2019 and grab this device.
Redmi K20 Pro Review: Battery Life
The Redmi K20 Pro is packed with 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with 27W fast charging support but yes Redmi didn’t supply the 27W charger in the box with means you need to spend Rs 1,000 for the fast charger.
Redmi has claimed that Redmi K20 Pro will last for whole 2 days and as you all know the company does claim lot’s of thing but that can true all the time. In my testing, the device will last for whole 1 day but yes you need to charge this device before you go in sleep.
Note Battery life will depend on your daily uses like what kind of games you are playing, how much time you spend on mobile phone etc.
Redmi K20 Pro Review: Conclusion
The Redmi K20 Pro has everything that you need in a flagship device and yes the phone is not overpriced. If you are getting an in-display fingerprint sensor, motorized pop-up selfie camera setup, full view display, Snapdragon 855 chipset, 27W charging support, glass unibody, and MIUI which is power sufficient UI, then I don’t think it’s an overpriced phone.
From my side, it’s a must-buy smartphone if your budget is below 30k.
