- 4GB Ram + 64GB Storage: Rs 12,999
- 6GB Ram + 128GB Storage: Rs 14,999
- 8GB Ram + 128GB Storage: Rs 15,999

Every product has its own Pros and Cons, so let’s see what kind of Cons you will see in Realme 6.
Contents
Display Quality: Better than Ever
If you don’t know, last year’s Realme 5 had only HD+ display and this year Realme went with FHD+ display but the price is also different this year. Realme 6 comes with a 6.50-inches display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and it also has a 90Hz display with a 120Hz touch sampling ratio.
The phone is priced at Rs 12,999 for 4GB of Ram and 64GB storage, so I would say, what you’re getting at this price point is totally worth it.
Yes, the screen is LCD and that’s not the problem because you can’t get everything at 13k price. Realme has given punch-hole display because of that Realme manage to get 90% + screen to body ratio.
Overall, Realme has provided a good LCD panel, so nothing to worry about display quality.
Build Quality: Its decent
Realme has given polycarbonate back which means you’re getting plastic built quality at 13k. The front display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which is kind of let down. The phone has a plastic build that doesn’t mean its bad but the problem with plastic is, It gives more stretch then glass if you don’t use case.
If you ask me, I prefer glass. So now it depends on you whether you want glass or plastic. Overall, at 13k you can’t complain.
Performance Quality: Solid
RealMe 6 has a powerful MediaTek Helio G90T which is built on 12 nm technology with ARM Mali-G76 MP4 GPU inside. We have seen this chipset in last year’s Redmi Note 8 Pro and that turn out to be good and Note 8 Pro was launched at 15k.
One more thing, the MediaTek Helio G90T is built on 12 nm technology that means you could face battery issues or some heating issue. The main reason for this is, this chipset is not balanced, it has a powerful GPU but not that powerful CPU.
Now, these things will happen when you play games for two or three hours, so this is the only downside of Helio G90T, overall, when it comes to gaming, its beast.
By the way, you can play PUBG at HD and HDR+, so nothing to worry about that. This MediaTek Helio G90T is more focused on gaming, so if you’re looking for a gaming phone and if your budget is below 15k then this could be the first choice.
Cameras: Best at 13k
The RealMe 6 has a Quad camera setup featuring 64MP Samsung-made GW1 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro sensor. On the front side, realme has given a 16MP selfie camera which is present on punch-hole display notch.
One thing to note here, you won’t get a camera result like RealMe 6 pro, I know both these phones have 64MP primary sensor but the company won’t give you the same result because one is priced at 13k and second is priced at 17k.
If I was looking for a phone at 13k and if I can’t go more then 13k, so I would go with Realme 6. Back to RealMe 6 camera, what you’re getting is best at 13k but don’t buy that 6GB Ram variant because it doesn’t make any sense at 15k.
Battery: Great
To power up this bad boy (I want to use that line for so long and now it’s here…) realme has provided 4,300mAh non-removable battery with 30W flash charging support, yes they just moved from VOOC to FLASH. RealMe has said, you can charge 0% to 100% in only 60-minutes.
I won’t say much about battery life because it depends on what kind of apps you use on phone but Realme 6 will last of 1 day if you’re not a heavy user.
Here we go again “the battery life depends on your phone use if you every day play games for 6 hours then you need to charge a phone every 6 hours but if you’re like me and don’t use the phone very often then it will last for a day.”
Audio: It’s good
Realme has provided only one single speaker and yes it is loud but not very loud. If you want an example, as compared to Realme XT, its only 50% louder.
Call quality is also good, so nothing to complain about. Keep in mind, this is a budget smartphone, so you won’t get everything perfect.
Conclusion: Wait for Redmi Note 9 Series
RealMe 6 has everything which you can expect from Rs 13,000 smartphone yet if you want to buy the best phone then do wait for Redmi Note 9 series which is out now.
Realme 6 comes with MediaTek Helio G90T, 64MP Quad camera setup, 4,300 battery with 30W fast charging support, a 90Hz screen refresh rate, and all these you’re getting at 13k. So if you can’t wait then this is totally worth buying.
