POCO X2 Review with Pros and Cons

POCO X2 Review

POCO by Xiaomi launched their first phone on March 10, 2020, and now POCO is an Independent brand which means POCO is POCO with no Xiaomi branding this time.

And now, POCO launched the POCO X2 in the Indian market at Rs 15,999 Rs 17,499, so let’s go deep down and find out, what the new POCO has done this time because RealMe X2 is also offering the same specification at the almost same price, so let’s see which X2 is for you.

First, POCO has launched three variants in India

And like Xiaomi or Redmi devices, POCO is also available on Flipkart. So if you want to buy POCO X2 then it will go for sale on 11th Feb 2020. If you don’t want to read this entered article then here is the answer you’re looking for…

POCO X2 Review: Quick

POCO X2 has Snapdragon 730G, 120Hz display panel, 4,500 battery with 27W fast charging, Quad camera setup, and all these you’re getting at Rs 15,999 Rs 17,499. In short, if your budget is 17k then POCO X2 is the best phone for you and even under 20k, POCO X2 is the best phone. So don’t look for anything else, if your under is below 20k. Now let’s talk in-depth…

POCO X2 Review: Display Quality

POCO X2 comes with a 6.67-inches Full HD+ display with a 120Hz Screen refresh rate. So there is no doubt, about the performance while playing games but when it comes to media consumption, I would say, AMOLED is way better than LCD panels. There is a saying “You can’t get everything in one bucket” and this is what happened here, they did provide a higher refresh rate but with an LCD panel.

So if you’re okay with LCD panel then POCO X2 is the phone for you. By the way, POCO X2 has great display quality and you won’t get any issue while using this phone but if you compare it with RealMe X2 then you see the difference. Overall, POCO X2 has done it good jobe with the display.

Just saying, Realme X2 has a better speaker then POCO X2 also if you use earphones, RealMe X2 will give you better sound output.

POCO X2 Review: Cameras

Now here things get a little bit tricky because one has a good rear camera while second has a good front camera, so here we’re doing POCO X2 review, sop let’s talk about POCO first. POCO X2 has an all-new 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor with F/1.89 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor that is present on the rear side. On the front side, POCO went with pile shape notch which has 20 MP + 2 MP selfie shooter.

There is no doubt, that the 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor will give you better results than Samsung’s 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1. So if you want the best rear camera under 20k then don’t look for any other smartphone but if you’re selfie person or love to shoot vlogs with a phone then do takes a look at RealMe X2 because that will give better selfie and vlog video from a Front camera.

Now, it’s up to you, what more you use in your duality life or which is your favorite brand.

POCO X2 Review: Performance

POCO X2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G which is based on 8 nm technology. We have seen quite of few smartphones with this chipset and they didi performed very well in every department, so yes you don’t need to worry about performance. POCO X2 is running on the latest MIUI 11 which is based on Android 10 and as per POCO history, this device will get faster updates then Xiaomi or Redmi devices.

As I have said, if you’re gamer then this is the best smartphone for you because it has a 120Hz screen refresh rate which will best-gaming experience in the budget category. This is a POCO device that means you will get POCO launcher top off MIUI 11 and that’s nice because your app drawer which is a great add-on.

Now talking about gaming, that 120Hz display is good but keep in mind, not many games support a higher refresh rate. For now, you can’t play PUBG in HDR altho the phone has an HDR display, so maybe in the coming days. Overall, no matter what games play, POCO X2 will give the best possible result.

POCO X2 Review: Battery Life

This is packed with 4,500 mAh non-removable battery with 27W fast charging support, so it will take around 1 hour and 10 minutes to charge 0% to 100% and will last for 1 day. Now as I have said in any Mobile Reviews, the battery life depends on personal uses, for example, if you’re lite user then it could last for 2 days but if you’re a heavy user then it can be finished in half day. Overall, the battery life depends on a person by person.

POCO X2 Review with Pros and Cons: Conclusion
