Year Old Smartphone

If you wanted to buy the best non-Chinese smartphone under Rs 50,000 then don’t look for any other smartphone, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is by far the best option available in India.

It checks all the boxes, the cameras are great, no issue with performance, and the battery life is also great while no complaints about OneUI.

The Snapdragon 865 is a kinda-year-old processor but it’s still, powerful enough to handle almost all mobile games and there won’t be any kind of problem while using the smartphone in day-to-day life.

Now, if you wanted a dedicated smartphone for gaming then let’s take look at 2nd option.

Asus ROG Phone 5s

PROSPowerful Snapdragon 888+ SoC
Long-lasting battery life
Smooth 144Hz Refresh Rate
Solid Build Quality
10-bit panel
Smooth OS
Dedicated Gaming triggers for Gaming
Superfast 65W charging
AMOLED Panel
CONSAverage Cameras
Not gating Regular Updates

If your end goal is to play games and you can comprise in the camera department then you can choose the Asus ROG Phone 5s over Galaxy S20 FE 5G but if you want an overall balanced smartphone then there I no better option than the Galaxy S20 FE 5G.

The Snapdragon 888+ is a powerful processor and that 144Hz refresh rate will help a lot while playing games or using a smartphone in day-to-day life.

The battery life is also great, it has a massive 6000mAh battery and 65W fast charging support while there is also a dual speaker which will help you a lot while watching movies or playing games.

Overall, as I have said, the only weak part of the ROG Phone 5s is its cameras, the rest is good.

iPhone SE (2022)

Apple iPhone SE 2 launched 01
PROSPowerful Apple A15 Bionic Chipset
Great Cameras Setup
IP67 dust/water resistant
Solid Build Quality
Stereo speakers
Smooth OS
CONSSmall Size
LCD Display
Only a 60Hz Refresh rate
Only 20W Charging support
No Charger in Box
HD Display
Huge bezels on top & Bottom
Expensive

I won’t say, whether iPhone Se 2022 is worth buying or not because when it comes to iPhone, most people don’t see the specs.

So if you’re a fan of Apple or wanted to try iPhone or you’re willing to pay 44k for iPhone then go for it, and have that experience.

Now, this is my personal opinion,

iPhone Se 2022 is not worth buying, it doesn’t offer value at 44k, if it was launched with iPhone 12 body then it could have been a good option but with that old design and LCD HD display, it doesn’t justify the 43k price and also, you’re okay getting 64GB variant.

Nevertheless, this is a Non-Chinese smartphone.

Asus 8z 5G

Asus 8z Image 01
PROSPowerful Snapdragon 888 SoC
Smooth 120Hz Refresh Rate
Solid Build Quality
Stock Android Experience
30W charging
AMOLED Panel
CONSAverage Cameras
Small Size
Small Battery Size
Only 30W Charging Support
Decent Battery Life
Bit Pricey

If you’re a fan of compact smartphones then this could be a good option to consider otherwise, consider the Galaxy S20 FE 5G or even ROG Phone 5s.

It also has Snapdragon 888 processor which is an again powerful processor, so there won’t be any kind of problem with speed.

Do note, that this is a year-old smartphone which is recently launched in India, this is supposed to launch in 2021 but somehow it got delayed.

So should you buy it?

Hear me out, this is a small smartphone, so if you’re okay with a small device and if you’re willing to pay extra money for a Non-Chinese Smartphone then go for it otherwise, it doesn’t worth the 43k price tag.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G Review 12
PROSGood Snapdragon 778G Processor
IP67 dust/water resistant
Solid Build Quality
OIS Support
Stereo speakers
Smooth OS
Lonner OS Updates
sAMOLED Display
CONSOnly 25W charging support
No Charger in the box
Cameras need improvement
No Wireless Charging support
Bit Pricey

This is the latest offering from Samsung and it’s an overpriced smartphone but again when we go for a Non-Chinese Smartphone, it can’t be called overpriced because we don’t have a good Non-Chinese option.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 41,999 for 8GB Ram + 128GB storage and compared to its pricing, the cameras are not that great, it needs improvement Samsung didn’t provide a charger in the box, so you have to pay extra Rs 1,999 to get 25W charger or you can use the one you have at your home.

Now the Snapdragon 778G is a powerful processor but it doesn’t work with a 42k price tag, we can get the same chipset in 20k smartphones too, so here, Samsung charging extra money for their logo.

Overall, if you wanted to buy the latest Samsung & Non-Chinese smartphone then Galaxy A73 5G is a good option but if you’re okay with the year-old device then go with Galaxy A20 FE 5G which is a way better phone than Galaxy A73 5G and it is available at a good price too.

Conclusion

The Galaxy S20 FE 5G is the best Non-Chinese Smartphone Under Rs 50,000 in India because it has a good camera, powerful processor, solid build, and smooth 120Hz AMOLED display.

Winner: Galaxy S20 FE 5G
