Finally, Xiaomi has launched it’s next-generation Android one smartphone in India and this time it’s called Xiaomi Mi A3. Xiaomi Mi A3
The Mi A3 comes with glass unibody which is protected by gorilla glass 5 with P2i Nano Coating, that means smartphone can handle lite rain but keep in mind it’s not totally waterproof. Talking about the display, this time Xiaomi has used HD+ display which is downgrades from last year Mi A2, Xiaomi said we have used AMOLED display and provided in-display fingerprint sensor, no matter what compnay says HD display is going to be HD.
The Mi A3 comes under Android one project which means you will get pure stock UI experience and compnay will give you two year security updates.
Under the hood, the Mi A3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 soc which is built on 11 nm technology with Adreno 610 GPU inside and Up To 2GHz 8 x Kyro 260 CPU. It’s running on stock Android 9.0 (Pie). On 20th August 2019 Realme also launched it’s RealMe 5 under Snspadragon 665 chipset, now it’s good to see how Mi A3 will perform.
Coming to the camera department, the phone comes with triple rear camera setup featuring 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, it has 32-megapixel selfie camera which is present on waterdrop notch.
The rear camera can shoot video up to 2160p@30fps and front camera can record video up to 1080p@30fps. The smartphone also has all the camera feature like Portrait Mode, Ultra-Wide Shots, EIS, Selfie Panorama, Palm Shutter. Talking about connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.0, IR Blaster, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, USB Type-C.
The Mi A3 is packed with 4,030 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support and yes it has Type-C port. As always Xiaomi hasn’t provided 18W chared in the box which means you need to buy that 18W charger separately form Market, by the way, you will get 10W charger out of the box.
