Xiaomi has just launched its new Note series smartphones in China. The Redmi Note 8 is priced at Rs 10,500 for 4 GB of Ram and 64 GB storage while Redmi Note 8 Pro starts from Rs 14,500 for 6 GB of Ram and 64 GB storage. Both the phone will launch in India very soon, so let’s take a look at the specifications of the Redmi Note 8 series.

Redmi Note 8 Specifications
The Redmi Note 8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 soc which is built on 11 nm technology and this is the same chipset that we have seen in RealMe 5 & Xiaomi Mi A3. It’s running on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The Redmi Note 8 features 6.39-inches Full HD+ display with the resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340, the phone also has the waterdrop notch and due to that Redmi manage to get 90% screen to body ratio. For screen protection, Redmi has used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the rear side as well as on the front side.
Talking about cameras, after RealMe 5, Redmi becomes the second smartphone compnay to offer Quad camera setup under Rs 10,000. By the way, the Redmi Note 8 comes with 48-megapixel primary shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel macro lens, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has the 13-megapixel selfie camera that is present on waterdrop notch.
The Redmi Note 8 is packed with 4,000 mAh non-removable battery which has 18W fast charging support and comes with Type-C port, 3.5 mm Audio Jack, and IR blaster.
Price and Availability
The Redmi Note 8 will be available in Dream Blue, Meteorite Black, and White color options. For now, Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 8 series smartphone in China, and we may see these smartphones in India in mid of September 2019, by the way, the phone will go for sale in China on 17th September 2019.

Redmi Note 8 Pro Specifications
The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a 6.53-inches Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340. It also has waterdrop notch like Redmi Note 8 and this too protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides.
As we expected, It’s powered by all-new MediaTek Helio G90T Soc which is built on 12 nm technology, it’s running on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 (pie) and as per Xiaomi, this phone will get Android 10 very soon. Redmi also implemented a liquid colling system in a smartphone to improve the gaming experience, like many other companies, Redmi also added Game Turbo.
The Company is also selling a gaming controller for the Xiaomi mobile which will give you better gaming experience.
Xiaomi also introduced a World of Warcraft limited edition, which will have the Custom themes and more.
This one also sports Quad camera setup but it’s Pro version and that’s why Redmi implemented 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel macro lens, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, it has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter. After Realme 5 Pro, Redmi Note 8 Pro becomes the second phone that has a 64-megapixel sensor.
