Redmi 8A Specifications
The Redmi 8A comes with a 6.20-inches HD+ display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1520 and yes it has waterdrop notch. The good thing is, it has P2i coating which means a smartphone can handle lite rain but keep in mind it’s not totally waterproof.
To protect Redmi 8A, Xiaomi has used a Gorilla Glass 5 on the front side while the back panel is built on polycarbonate plastic.
Under the hood, the Redmi 8A is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 which is built on 12 technology with Adreno 505 GPU and ARMv8 CPU. It’s running on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 (Pie). The phone features a single 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera setup.
The phone is packed with huge 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, all tho, Redmi will not provide an 18W charger in the box that means you need to purchase an 18W adapter separately. The phone also has the Type-C port which is very good according to the price tag.

The Redmi 8A will be available from Flipkart on big billion days which starts on 29th September 2019. By the way, the phone is available in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Red.
