Redmi 8A Pro specifications
The Redmi 8A Pro comes with 6.22 inches HD+ display with waterdrop notch and to protect the front side, Redmi has used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and on the rear side, plastic. The phone has a P2i coating which means it will be splash-resistant.
The Redmi 8A Pro is powered by Snapdragon 439 which is not the that bad processor but still, its not the best at 7k price range. Redmi has launched 2GB and 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and yes the phone has dedicated micro-SD card slot which will come in handy.
It has a dual rear-facing camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor while on the front side, the phone has 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The Redmi 8A Pro comes with support for Google Lens, portrait mode and can record video up to 1080p@30fps.
The phone has a whopping 5,000 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support and yes the 18W charger is supplied in the box. This is an overall Xiaomi product that means its running MIUI 10 on top of Android 10. One thing to note, the phone doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor which can be a deal-breaker for some people.
Back to connectivity features, the device has dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, wireless FM radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Redmi 8A Pro Price and Availability
If you’re from Indonesia then it will cost you around RP 1,549,000 (Rs 7,100). Talking about Indian pricing, in its available at Rs 6,999 for 2GB Ram and 32GB storage.
As of now, Redmi 8A Pro is available in Sky White, Sea Blue, and Midnight Grey color variant.
