Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi launched Redmi 7 in China, the smartphone is looking great in-term of design & looks but let’s go inside the device and take a look whether you should wait for this device or not?
Redmi 7 is a budget category smartphone, so if your budget is under Rs 10,000 then you can take a look at this new device from Xiaomi. A part of that ‘ Budget ‘ tag smartphone has lot’s of other that y gonna love it.

Redmi 7 Specifications
The smartphone features a 6.26-inch HD+ display with the resolution of 1520 pixel by 720, and it comes with a waterdrop display that means you can use more display space. On paper, the display is looking awesome and I think at 7K you are gating much more than what other smartphone is giving us right now
Redmi introduces three variant for Redmi 7, 2 GB of Ram & 16 GB internal storage, 3 GB of Ram & 32 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of Ram and 64 GB internal storage. Smartphone just launched in China, so maybe next month Redmi will launch this one in India too
Coming to the camera department, the device comes with dual 12-megapixel main camera setup with F/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel depth sensor to click portrait images, on the front side it has single 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Both the camera can shoot video up to 1080p, for now, I can’t say too much about camera performance because I haven’t tested the cameras yet, but I am really curious to see how it’s gonna perform.
Now it’s time to check performance, Redmi 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 soc which is built on 14 nm technology, it runs on the latest MIUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie). 632 soc is specially built for budget category devices, so I think device need to perform well.
And if want to play games like PUGB or ashplant 9 than you should know that the device has Adreno 506 and it can give you good performance but don’t expect too much.
