Mi Band 5 Launched: India launch date, Price, Features and More

Mi band India launch

Xiaomi has finally launched Mi band 5 in China. The band comes in two variants, one has NFC support while another one comes without NFC support. Mi band 5 has a 1.1-inches color AMOLED display which is upgraded from the last generation Mi band 4, as per Xiaomi the Mi band 5 will last for almost 14-days with Full charge.

Fun fact, the Mi Band 5 is known as Mi Smart Band 5 outside China.

Mi band 5 Price

That NFC variant is priced at CNY 229 (roughly Rs. 2,500) while the non-NFC version is priced at CNY 189 (roughly Rs. 2,000). The Mi band 5 is available in Black, Blue, Pink, Orange, Purple, Yellow, and Green strap options and it will go for sale on June 18th, 2020.

As now, Xiaomi hasn’t said anything about global or even India launch. Whenever Xiaomi announced the India launch date, I will update it right here.

Mi band 5 Features

As I have told you, the band comes with a 1.1-inches color display along with that now you will get about 100+ watch faces which are huge for a fitness band. Xiaomi has used Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) which will measure heart rate, sleep tracking, and all the other activity very accurately.

Like Mi band 4, this Mi band 5 also has a heart rate sensor along with that now, female users can now track their menstrual cycle with the women’s health mode. Also, the band will give you all the notifications like music control, incoming calls, text, weather updates, and more.

Like Mi band 4, Xiaomi has also launched the NFC version. The question is, will Xiaomi launch that NFC variant in India because most of the brand removes the NFC chip when its launch in India. Let’s see what Xioami will do this time…

Talking battery, the Mi band comes with a 125mAh battery. As per Xiaomi non-NFC version will last for 20-days while the NFC version will last for about 14-days.

For charging, Xiaomi has used a magnetic charging mechanism that means you don’t need to take the tracker out of the strap, you just need to attach the magnet and you good to go. This is exactly like what SmartWatches had for years, now we have it on fitness band.

Is it worth to Buy MI band 5

Yes, definitely you can buy Mi band 5 because it has a larger 1.1-inches display, 100+ catch faces, magnetic charging mechanism which will make life easier, SpO2 sensor, 24-hour sleep tracking, and much more. So yes, Mi band 5 is worth buying.

Also, Mi band 5 is not launched in India yet. So don’t import from China and wait for India launch. Now, do let me, will you buy Mi band 5 and you’re happy with Mi band 4.
