Xiaomi is back with another gaming-centric smartphone and this time they all went in, the phone has everything which you will need in gaming smartphones. This time we got Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro, both the phones have almost the same specifications but yes, that Pro is better than the non-Pro version. So let’s talk about what ‘Pro” feature you will get with Pro version.

Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro: My First Impression
Talking about the pricing, Xiaomi has launched two variants for this series and yes the price will also be different for each version,
Black Shark 3
- 8GB Ram + 128GB storage: CNY 3499 (approx Rs 37,000)
- 12GB Ram + 128GB storage: CNY 3799 (approx Rs 40,000)
- 12GB Ram + 256GB storage: CNY 3999 (approx Rs 42,000)
Black Shark 3 Pro
- 8GB Ram + 256GB storage: CNY 4699 (approx Rs 50,000)
- 12GB Ram + 256GB storage: CNY 4999 (approx Rs 52,500)
I think what you’re getting at 38K is just amazing, so if you’re gamer and want to buy a new smartphone then do wait for these two smartphones, you gonna love it. Keep in mind, the phone is focused on the gaming side of things, so don’t expect much from the camera department.
You will get good cameras but it won’t be good as what other smartphones are providing below 40k. This is gaming-centric smartphones and build for gamers, overall the company did give the best chipset but they will have done some cost-cutting in the camera department.
This is a gaming phone and if a phone doesn’t have gaming triggers then it is not a gaming phone right… that is not the case with these phones, both phones have physical triggers for more immersive and enhanced gameplay. So no need to buy a sperate trigger to play games.
By the way, the phone also has liquid cooling systems which will give you smoother gaming performance. It also has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor which is faster than the previous generation and the phone is running on Android 10 out of the box.
In short, if you want to buy a new phone and you’re gaming smartphone then I would say, don’t buy right now, wait for Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro.
Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro: India Launch date
As of now, we don’t have any information but the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro will launch very soon in India too. So if anything comes up releted India launch then it will be updated here.
Now, of course, if you want to buy one of these, the sale starts on 6th March 2020 and would be made available from March 17. Keep in mind, the phone is only launched in China.
