I mean just look at the newly launched Galaxy M42 5G. This could have been the best smartphone at 22k but Samsung messed up, big, this time.
The Galaxy M42 5G comes with a powerful Snapdragon 750G Processor, a huge 5,000 mAH battery, a 6.6-inches AMOLED HD+ display, a plastic build, a decent camera setup, 15W charging support, and it’s priced at Rs 21,999 for 6GB of Ram and 128GB of storage.

Let’s not jump directly to the answer, before that let me tell you Galaxy M42 5G price in India.
As you can tell, it has the best specification considering the Samsung brand but the phone has an HD+ display, now this is a bummer as this is not a 10k smartphone, Galaxy M42 5G is priced at 22k, and at this price tag, it’s acceptable.
Now, before you spend 22k on Galaxy M42 5G, let’s see whether Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is worth buying or not?

Is it Worth Buying Samsung Galaxy M42 5G?
No, Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is not worth buying because it’s an overpriced smartphone and it doesn’t offer the best value at a 22k price tag. The phone has only an HD+ display and considering the price tag, it’s not acceptable. We have tons of other phones with better specs and they are priced below 15k, so it doesn’t make any sense to spend 22k on Galaxy M42 5G.
We all know, Samsung will never launch the best Android smartphone at a budget price tag, they will cut down one or two features and that’s the same case with Galaxy M42 5G.
I mean, look at the specifications, it has the best processor, smooth OS, an in-display fingerprint sensor, decent camera setup but it misses out on display and 5G bands.
So should you buy Galaxy M42 5G?
As I said, if you can live with an HD+ display then Galaxy M42 5G could be a good smartphone for you.
If you ask me, Galaxy M42 is not worth buying at all. I mean, we have Mi 10i 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro, RealMe X7, and many other smartphones below 20k in India, so it doesn’t make any sense to spend 22k on HD+ display.

By the way, the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G only has one 5G 5G which Samsung didn’t mention on their website. Just Now, Samsung updated the selling page of the Galaxy M42 5G page, the same I have updated above.
Galaxy M42: Conclusion
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G does have some good features but it misses out on important features which are display quality and lack of 5G bands. This time, it’s better to stay away from Galaxy M42 5G and see what Samsung has to offer with a next-gen smartphone.
Till then, you can take look at Redmi Note 10 Series or Galaxy F62 or just click here to see the top best 5g smartphone under Rs 30,000 in India.
