RealMe Narzo 20 Pro Review with Pros and Cons
If you want a quick answer then here, you can skip RealMe 7 and just go with RealMe Narzo 20 Pro. Now if you want to know why I should buy Narzo 20 Pro over RealMe 7 then let’s do the in-depth review and find out why Narzo 20 Pro is the best smartphone you can buy under Rs 15,000 in India.

RealMe Narzo 20 Pro Display Quality
Display Size | 6.50 inches LCD Panel |
Dimensions | 162.3 x 75.4 x 9.4 mm |
Display Protection | Corning Gorilla Glass 3 |
Screen Refresh Rate | 90Hz refresh rate |
If you have read my RealMe 7 Review then you should skip this part because there is nothing new here. RealMe didn’t even make small changes in display quality.
As I have said, the display quality is good and that 90Hz screen refresh rate makes things smoother, so if you’re okay with LCD display then this is the best one you can get below 15k in India. Still, if you want AMOLED then you have to spend more then 14k on a smartphone because most of the phones are coming with an LCD display.
The display is viewable under sunlight and also the phone has the plastic build and because of that, the phone won’t heat up quickly. In short, RealMe has done a good job here. As of now, I haven’t had any problem with display…
RealMe Narzo 20 Pro Build Quality
Build | Front side (Gorilla Glass 3), back plastic, and plastic frame |
You can tell from the build, it’s a glass body, oh, wait, it’s plastic build. I mean most of the brands are using this kind plastic in every single price range even Samsung Galaxy Note 20 also has the plastic build and it’s priced at 70k, so this RealMe Narzo 20 Pro which is only priced 14k.
So should I say, there is nothing to worry about, sorry I can’t say that because RealMe has done cost-cutting here which I can’t ignore if you can see, RealMe 7 Pro also has a plastic build. Plastic is not that bad but if you drop the phone then you will see the cracks here and there on your phone. So it’s good to have plastic in 15k smartphone but still, that’s me, if you don’t have any problem with the build then just go for it…
RealMe Narzo 20 Pro Cameras
Cameras (rear) | 48 MP Primary 8 MP Ultra-Wide 2 MP Macro 2 MP Depth |
Video Recording (Rear) | [email protected], [email protected]/60fps |
Cameras (Front) | 16MP Front Camera |
Video Recording (Front) | [email protected] |
As I have said many times, let’s skip those 2MP+2MP sensors because those are just for marketing, the company needs to say, our smartphone has the Quad cameras, they can’t just put dual camera setup in 2020, right.
There is nothing much to say here, the camera is the same as what it’s present on ReaMe 7. I know, sensors are different but the camera quality will be close, so can’t say much here.
By the way, the RealMe Narzo 20 Pro can shoot video up to [email protected] with rear cameras while the front camera can shoot up to [email protected] I don’t have any problem with video quality, it’s good, can’t complain much at 14k.
The only I don’t like is, camera quality, don’t get me wrong. Details are good, viewing angles are good too but sometimes, images turned overexposed which won’t be a huge problem for many people because most of the people like this kind of image quality. About me, I want natural images which are not the case with RealMe Narzo 20 Pro.
For casual user who don’t care much about cameras, this is going to be beast. I didn’t any huge problem yet. Also that overexposed thing will not effect most of the people because if you haven’t used flagship smartphones then I dnt think you will notice this problem.
Right now I’m using OnePlus 7T and still, I feel like, images turned out a little bit white. I’m too much into cameras, so that’s why I notice everything but for a normal user, this won’t be a huge deal-breaker.
RealMe Narzo 20 Pro Performance
This was the first processor to feature in RealMe 7 and now RealMe Narzo 20 Pro is the 2nd phone have this chipset, jokes aside. There is nothing much to say here, this is a 12nm processor. If you love to play games then this is the best smartphone you can buy under 15k in India, also there won’t be any problem in day to day use. Now let me copy some paragraph from RealMe 7 Review…
“As I have told you, this is the best phone for gaming. There won’t be any problem while playing games like COD Mobile, Ashplant 9 or any other games. The phone will handle almost everything without any problem but keep in mind, this is a budget centric smartphone, so don’t expect too much”
“The phone also has 90Hz screen refresh rate and it works good on MediaTek Helio G95 Processor, there is no frame drops while scrolling through social media or just using phone, this new chip will give best possible performance.”
I have played COD Mobile on this phone and I haven’t had any problem while playing. You can play heavy games on this phone without any problem but keep in mind this is a budget phone, so won’t able to play games for 4 to 5 hours continuously, the phone will heat up after 4 or 5 hours of gameplay.
In the end, can’t complain much, I think at 14k, nothing to worry about.
RealMe Narzo 20 Pro Audio
The phone has a single button firing speaker which do get load but it’s an only a single speaker, so this is what you get. The sound quality is clear, it’s not like you won’t able to hear the sound properly, I haven’t had any problem.
But RealMe Narzo 20 Pro doesn’t have the secondary noise cancellation microphone. Now you will say, why this is big deal, let’s assume you’re in the crowded place, you got a call from someone, this is that time when secondary noise cancellation microphone comes to rescue. Another person on the call, won’t able to hear you properly because your phone has only one microphone.
So yes secondary noise cancellation microphone is must-have in every single smartphone. By the way, the speaker is loud, you can listen to music but for calling it’s not the best.
RealMe Narzo 20 Pro Battery Life
Battery Size | 5,000 mAh non-removable |
Charging Speed | Wired charging 65W ( 65W charger will be supplied in the box.) |
Charging Port | Type-C |
Charging Time | 100% in 34 Minutes (As per RealMe) |
If you have read my Mobile Review then you will know I don’t say much about battery life because t’s depend on you, for how long you use your smartphone every day. I don’t think anyone will have any problem with battery life because this phone comes with 65W fast charging support.
“the battery life depends on your phone use if you every day play games for 6 hours then you need to charge a phone in every 6 hours but if you’re like me and don’t use the phone very often then it will last for a day or so”
RealMe Narzo 20 Pro: Verdict
If you want budget gaming smartphone and you care much about cameras then RealMe Narzo 20 Pro is the best phone for you but if you want overall package then still, I feel POCO M2 Pro is good option to go with. The RealMe Narzo 20 Pro has 65W fast charging support, 90Hz LCD display, 5000 mAH battery, and MediaTek Helio G95 gaming Processor.
Do I recommend RealMe Narzo 20 Pro?
If you want a gaming phone then RealMe Narzo 20 Pro is a good option but for those who want a smartphone for the long term, those people can go with POCO M2 Pro. I still feel for long use Qualcomm chipsets are more reliable then MediaTek.
No mobile brands will give you a perfect smartphone because if they do then what they launch next. RealMe Narzo 20 Pro also has its Pros and Cons, let’s see why I don’t recommend this phone to everyone….
