Before we jump into the review here is the quick specification,

In-depth Review of OnePlus 7 Pro

The OnePlus 7 Pro has 6.67-inches Quad HD+ display with the resolution 1440 pixels 3120, and for the first time company used 90Gz & HDR10+ display in their OnePlus device. There is also Motorized pop-up 16 MP selfie camera with F/2.0 aperture and it can shoot video up-to 1080p@60 fps.

On the rear side, it has a triple camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor with F/1.6 aperture, a 16-megapixels 13mm ultrawide lens with F/2.2 aperture, and 8-megapixel 78 mm telephoto lens. With the rear camera, you can record video up-to 2160p@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, 720p@480fps, Auto HDR.

Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 soc with is built on 7 nm technology with Adreno 640 GPU and Octa-core 1×2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 485 CPU. It runs on the latest oxygen 9 OS based on Android 9.0 (pie). The phone is packed with whopping 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with 30W  Warp support and it has type-C 3.1 port.

The device is available in 6 GB of Ram & 128 GB internal storage priced at Rs 48,999 and 8 GB of Ram & 256 GB of internal storage priced at Rs 52,999, the oneplus 7 pro is exclusive on Amazon IN. Now let’s jump into the in-depth review of OnePlus 7 Pro.

Display Quality

One of the best things about this device is the display quality because for the first time Oneplus used HDR 10+ & 90Gz display in their flagship phone and now you can imagine how good display is going to be right. The smartphone also has the curved side edges that mean when you are watching movies or even while playing games, you will experience something new that you haven’t seen in any OnePlus devices.

So yes overall the display quality is the best thing about OnePlus 7 Pro and as of now, we haven’t find any issue regarding the display. In short, if you are one of those people who can’t compromise in display than I think you gonna love this device but of course in smartphone display is not the only thing right, so now let’s talk about the Performance.

Performance

When smartphone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip that means you can’t question the performance but with that said Company also need to optimize their software as well, by the way, the OnePlus 7 Pro runs on latest oxygen 9 OS based on Android 9.0 (pie). As of now, the smartphone is performing really well in day to day tasks even if you open 10 application at the same time, the phone will give you the best possible result.

We also played games like PUGB (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), Asphalt 9 and even newly launched Call of Duty as well and while playing these games we haven’t noticed any lags or even overheating problem. And I think OnePlus improved a lot in their newly launched oxygen OS 9, compnay also added some of the new features like ZEN mode and many others as well and it will give you a better experience.

So overall Performance is the key factor in this device because it has everything that a real flagship device needed and I think you gonna love OnePlus 7 Pro if you are into gaming.

Camera

The only downside of this device is cameras, yes you heard is right OnePlus 7 Pro doesn’t have a great camera setup and I am not saying, it has the worst camera but considering the price of This device doesn’t fill the price tag.

By the way, on the rear side it has a triple camera setup and all the three lenses worked really well when you take photos under good lighting condition and if you are not into the photography than you will not gonna find any problem but if you do care about image quality than you might not like the image that captured by OnePlus 7 Pro.

The bad thing is you can’t shoot video with a wide-angle lens and not even with a telephoto lens, OnePlus also said that we are not planning to give video recording options in wide-angle lens & telephoto lens, that means you can only shoot video with 48-Megapixel primary shooter. There is an also OIS & EIS available in primary sensor that means video quality is going to be top notch.

So overall I not gonna lie here, Camera is the only downside of Oneplus 7 Pro. In short, if you can ignore camera performance than OnePlus 7 Pro is the best device that you can get under Rs 50,000.

Battery

The OnePlus 7 Pro has whopping 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with 30W Warp charging support. Earlier I told you that OnePlus 7 Pro has 90Hz display that means if you use 90Hz display option than the battery is going to drain quickly as compare to 60Gz, so if you want long-lasting battery then use the 60Hz option but there is also 30W charger supplied in the box, so you don’t need to worry about the battery.

So overall battery is quite impressive and keep in mind battery performance depends on the user, how much the user uses the phone.

Price

The smartphone is exclusive on Amazon In and it is available in Mirror Gray, Nebula Blue, Almond.
