No iPhone 9 this year, we got the iPhone SE 2 (2020). It has the same design, I mean from iPhone 8, not from iPhone 11 series. The iPhone SE 2 starts from Rs 42,500 for 64GB storage, the phone has large bezels on the top and bottom, and a home button makes a return with Touch ID.
As of now, we don’t have India launch date and I don’t have any idea when we have because India is lockdown till 3rd May 2020, so maybe after that, we could see some announcement for India launch.
For the US, the iPhone SE 2 will be available for pre-order on 17th April 2020, and it will ship on April 24th. The phone has three variants, 64GB, 128GB, and 256Gb. Like other iPhones, it will come with a free year of Apple TV Plus.

iPhone SE 2 (2020) Specifications
The newly launched iPhone comes with 4.7-inches display and yes it has large bezels on the top and bottom which could be a problem for some people but this time, its iPhone, so maybe no one will have any problem.
As I have said, the Touch ID makes returns with iPhone SE 2. Apple also added the Dolby Vision and HDR10 which is a must-have because this phone is priced at Rs 42,500 in India. It is available in Black, White, and Product Red color variant, so choose your favorite one.
Under the hood, iPhone SE 2 has A13 Bionic which is the same chip that Apple has provided with the iPhone 11 series, so it’s all good. I don’t want to say this but still, the phone is running on iOS 13.
Back to the camera department, the phone has only a 12-megapixel single rear camera setup and Apple is claiming that this phone has the best single-camera setup and this could be true but tell me one thing, will you buy a single camera phone if any Android manufacturing launches, I know your answer is no.
The fact that its Apple, people won’t complain. On the front side, we got the 7-megapixel selfie shooter which will give you good images. That rear-single camera can shoot video up to 4k@30fps.
For connectivity, iPhone SE 2020 includes Wi-Fi, LTE Dual SIM, and also eSIM, lighting port for charging. It also has support for wireless charging too.
Why iPhone SE 2 (2020) is not for everyone?
This phone is priced at Rs 42,500, at this price tag you can get the best Android smartphone but yes, for those who want to try the iPhone and don’t want to spend lakhs of rupee then this could be your first iPhone. As I have said, iPhone SE 2 is not for everyone but this is the 2nd best iPhone you can get below 50k after iPhone XR.
