Motorola One Power Review with Pros and Cons

Motorola One Power Review

After a long time Motorola launched something amazing at mid-range and this time we can’t complain about device performance or even camera, so what’s bad in this particular device let’s find out today. So this is our In-depth review of Motorola Power one device.

Display Quality

The smartphone features 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with 1080*2246 screen resolution and yes this device has display notch, so you will get some extra screen space on the display.

Talking about the display, you can see the display under the Sunlight and display is visible in even extreme sunlight, so from our side, we didn’t find any issue regarding display quality.

But yes if you are using this device under the sunlight then the device may get hot sometimes but don’t worry about this issue because this stuff is kind normal when it’s come to this kind of situation

Build Quality and Design

In a normal world, if we need to describe this device then it would be “Solid”. The device comes with Metal unibody and for the first time, we can say that Motorola did change the design and smartphone looks good and feels solid in hand.

For the display protection, Motorola uses some other glass because the company didn’t mention anything about display protection, but yes some sources say that the company used Gorilla glass 3.

So in short smartphone looks great and build is quite a batter than previous Motorola devices.

Camera department

The smartphone comes with 16 megapixels + 5-megapixel rear camera setup, and for this price, the camera is good in every department. Even if you take photos under low light or in the night, the smartphone performs quite good and I said quite good because I found some noise when I clicked some of the photos under low lighting, but yes Motorola can fix this problem via OTA update.

Coming to the front side, the device has 12-megapixel selfie camera setup with a led flashlight. The front camera is also good, nothing to worry about.

Hardware and Software

The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip with Adreno 509 GPU.

So In short, the chip is very powerful and we have seen this chip in many mid-range smartphones and all the smartphone performed well, but we can’t say same about Motorola One power and it’s all because of software and ram management.

Yes, smartphone runs on Pure stock UI but Motorola didn’t optimize software well, so I hope they fix the problem with OTA update.

For the hardware and software, we give 10 out of 7.2,  and it’s not because of the chip but it’s because of the software.

Battery Department

The smartphone packed with 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

So the battery is great on this device, and it can last up to 1 an half day

Overall if you love Motorola device and Pure stock UI then you can go with this device, but if you don’t care about Motorola or stock UI then Go with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro or Mi A2  or POCO F1.
