Design
When its come to design Huawei & Honor is on the Top. The device has glass uni-body and no doubt smartphone is looking amazing as always but when you purchase this kind of smartphone, you need to be very careful because if in case you drop that beautiful smartphone than you know what is going to happen with the device right
An in-short glass back is beautiful but when its come to build quality than a smartphone doesn’t look great. But now doubt Huawei Y9 is a beautiful device and its feel premium in hand
Apart from that stuff, the smartphone comes with 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340. And it has a display notch
Camera
Huawei Y9 comes with a main 16-megapixel camera with F/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor and it has F/2.4 Aperture. On the front side, the device has the dual 13-megapixel main sensor and 2-megapixel depth sensor
The camera is not going to be great in Huawei Y9. In the past, we have seen Honor 10 Lite, Honor 8X and those devices also priced at 13K to 15K right and those two devices don’t have good camera setup,
So in-short camera is not going to be top-notch in Y9. Huawei & Honor always focused on the design and because of that camera is always weak on budget devices
Processor
The smartphone is powered by Hisilicon Kirin 710 with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.
I think we talked too much about Kirin 710 in last previews blog post but still, if you want to know, here is my words from Honor 10 Lite Review
Performance is going to be top-notch in this device and it’s very close to Snapdragon 660, and I said very close because Adreno GPU is way batter than Mali.
So overall the smartphones are very good but at 16K I don’t think you should buy Huawei Y9, but still, if you want a great premium looking device and you don’t care about price or Camera than Open amazon page and order right now
Battery
Huawei Y9 Packed with 4000 mAh non-removable battery with USB Port. So yes no Type-C supports or not even fast charging support
The device will last all day long.
Price
Huawei Y9 priced at Rs 15,990 and its exclusive device, it will available in three colour variant Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, Aurora Purple
Conclusion
End of the story is if you want a great premium looking smartphone at Rs 15000 and you don’t care about the camera than Huawei Y9 is only for you, but if you want a good design with great camera setup than go with Realme 2 Pro, Asus Zenfone Max M2 Pro or wait for Redmi Note 7
Y9 device has premium uni-body, powerful Chipset but when it’s camera department Huawei Y9 is not that premium.
